After selling horse tack for a while on ebay I realized that people have a lot of questions about horses and horse tack. So I have decide to open this blog in hopes of answering a few questions, meeting a few new friends and maybe hearing a few funny horse stories.
I do not claim to be an expert but I do have a bit of knowledge on the subject and I bet there are a lot of you out there that do too and would be willing to answer some questions. So if you have a question to ask or story to share please feel free to ask and I or someone looking to do a random act of kindness will answer your question shortly. Happy Trails, Liz

I am so happy to have come across you and your art. It is funny how things work. It is all because of a purple bag that I am here now commenting. I, too, have always loves horses and art, but have never been much of an artist. writing became my art form. I am now the proud owner of a 16 year old ex-racehorse. he is wonderful, but he is a thoroughbred! He likes to pull his tongue over the bit and wag it out the side of his mouth. as you can imagine, that makes it hard to communicate with him. we have only been together since Feb. so we have lots to learn about each other. He loves to be hugged! Robin Wells

ReplyDeleteHi Robin, I too have a ex-race horse. I have had him since he was three and he is about 15 now. When I first got him I had a lot of the same problems that you are having but ad in head tossing and no brakes. I tried a lot of different things and we settled on a mechanical hackamore. Life has been great ever since. I have control and he has his freedom, this was our happy compromise.
ReplyDeleteKeep on writing! Many Happy Trails...Liz

ReplyDeleteHow ԁo yоu put tοgether business that marketing plаn?
ReplyDeleteThе shareholders' liability for losses is limited business to jellies, fruit butters and jams. We are tackling it both from a geographical to a product before they actually make a decent profit.
